Hove RFC - Detailed Directions
Hove RFC is situated about 1 mile from the sea (English Channel) and about 2 miles from the centre of the City of Brighton & Hove. About 2 minutes walk from the mainline Hove railway station (London Victoria in under an hour), the ground is also served by bus routes 81c (from/to Hove Railway Station), as well as the less frequent, 55, 56, 59, 59A and 81 - these latter being on Old Shoreham Road.
By Road
If you are travelling South on the A23 towards Brighton, pass through the Brighton Pillars on the outskirts of town. Stay on the A23 for a further half mile and stay in left hand lane approaching the roundabout and follow the road around to the left, following directions to Worthing, A27. Stay in left hand lane and turn left at the next roundabout onto the A27 and remain in the left hand lane.
You will go up a steep hill. Take the left hand slip road signposted Hove (A2038). At the roundabout take the third exit.

If you are travelling West on the A27 towards Brighton, you should take the exit for Hove (A2038)and, at the roundabout, take the third exit.

If you are travelling East on the A27 towards Brighton, you should take the exit for Hove (last exit before A23). At the roundabout at the top of the slip road go right, crossing the A27. At the next roundabout, take the third exit (A2038) Follow general directions below.
General Directions - now you are in Hove continue down the 'Snakey' hill (King George VI Avenue). At the bottom of the hill take the left turn into Goldstone Crescent. Continue for about a mile and you will have Hove Park on your right. Due to lack of parking near the ground, please park in Goldstone Crescent. (Wait until you have passed the phone box on the right.) If you then walk along Goldstone Crescent turn left up Hove Park Road. There is an entrance to the recreation Ground on the right.
If you must park nearer the ground please take care in the way you park. If you are carrying heavy luggage or disabled persons you may enter the ground by car - the entrance is on the junction of Old Shoreham Road and Shirley Drive. You should arrange such access in advance by contacting the Club on 01273 505103. Once in the ground you MUST DRIVE SLOWLY.
